The former vice president and security adviser of Urkullu will join the cabinet of Deputy General Elixabete Etxanobe for advisory work.
The Board of Directors of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia has appointed Josu Erkoreka (1960, Bermeo) as advisor. The one who served as vice president and security council member during Urkullu’s last term will now join the cabinet of Bizkaia Deputy General Elixabete Etxanobe as a regional advisor.
Provincial States sources confirm that this appointment is motivated by “the proven experience and personal CV” of Erkoreka. They believe that “their legal knowledge can make a great contribution to the Bizkaia deputation.”
Likewise, they indicate that it is an internal consultancy work, without any public projection.
