The general deputies of Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa received a higher salary in 2021 than the president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, who received 84,845.16 euros per year. At the top of the list is the deputy general of Bizkaia, Unai Rementeriawho received 112,250.60 euros last year.
For example, it is collected in the Salary tion System Administrative Posts (ISPA), managed by the State Secretary for Territorial Policy. Behind Rementeria is the president of the Provincial Council of Barcelona, the socialist Nuria Marín, who earned 106,816.74 euros in 2021.
The Deputy General of Álava, Ramiro Gonzalezreceived 101,392.35 euros and the deputy general of Gipuzkoa, Markel Olano, 88,590.49 euros.
