The parliamentary spokesperson for EH Bildu, Otxandiano hair, has pointed out that “the central issue in this term must be political status and self-government”, after “three terms in a roundabout way”. According to him, “there has been interference, interference by the state for decades” and the current recognized self-government is “corrupted and strategically burdened”.
In an interview for the ‘Boulevard’ programme, Otxandiano called for a ‘borderless’ debate in the Basque Parliament on self-government, in which no group would have the right of veto.
