The meeting between Pello Otxandiano and Imanol Pradales will start at 09:30 in Ajuria Enea. Self-government and the relationship with the state will predictably be the central themes.
The lehendakari, Imanol Pradalescontinues this Monday with the round of meetings with the parties represented in the Basque Parliament, and will receive the spokesperson of EH Bildu in the Basque Parliament at 09:30 in Ajuria Enea, Otxandiano hair.
As Otxandiano noted in late June, the legislature has done so two priorities be treated in parallel: on the one hand, self-government, full compliance with the Gernika Statute; and on the other hand, debate about the relationship of the Basque Autonomous Community with the state. It is predictable that these, along with the Osakidetza situation, will be the main topics discussed during what will be the first meeting between the two since Pradales was inaugurated as Lehendakari.
Imanol Pradales launched the agenda for meetings with social and economic political actors as soon as he was appointed Lehendakari on June 22.
He first met the general deputies of the three areas, on July 1, and began meetings with the parties with parliamentary representation on July 11.
Pradales excluded Vox from this round of contacts because, in his opinion, “it does not share the ethical and democratic framework.” Thus, in order from the smallest to the largest representation, the round of contacts between the parties with Sumar began on the 11th.
On July 12, he met with Javier de Andrés, of the Popular Party, and with Eneko Andueza, of the Socialist Party.
Next Monday it is EH Bildu’s turn and on Tuesday the 16th he will meet with the PNV to complete the round of contacts between the political parties.
After meeting with the parties, the Lehendakari will meet with Basque social agents, unions and employers.
