77% of ERC members with voting rights (6,349 people) spoke in the telematic advice of the party and 53.5% (3,397) supported the support agreement concluded with the PSC and the inauguration of the socialist Salvador Illa.

The question the ERC militants answered was the following: Do you agree that Esquerra Republicana votes in favor of the inauguration of the Socialist candidate in exchange for fiscal sovereignty, the promotion and protection of the Catalan language, the National Convention for the resolution of the political conflict and the rest of the agreed measures?.
With the approval of the ERC bases, Illa sees the presidency of the Generalitat coming closer, although he will have to overcome another obstacle, as the former president Carlos Puigdemont He has promised that he would return to Catalonia for the inauguration, despite the risk of being arrested, which would change the whole scenario.

Junts and PSC meet their managers this Saturday
The PSC will hold an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Commission next Saturday from 11am to 12pm at its headquarters in Barcelona, following the ‘yes’ of the ERC militancy.
Junts will also hold a telematic meeting of their executive branch to “assess the new political situation that this decision will entail for the country and for the independence process,” it said in a statement.
