On the same day they organised a popular meal at the Arenal festival grounds, followed by a pilgrimage and an event at the back of the Arriaga.
The spokesman for the Hontzak Konpartsa, Galder Antón, has stressed that the Bilbao groups have been “forced to call for another year” of this mobilization after 34 years, “requesting the end of the inhuman, vengeful and cruel removal policy“.
The fellow Member stressed that they are not asking for “any privileges” as they are asking for the application of ordinary law, in addition to “stopping the obstruction of the route that passes through the right belongs to them“.
The Civic Platform Sare and Bilboko Konpartsak see these acts as “progress” towards the coexistence of Basques in order to “find a solution to the issue of Basque prisoners and exiles.”
