The governor of Burgenland, Hans Peter Doskozil, accepted the invitation of Lower Austria’s best candidate, Franz Schnabl, to come to Wiener Neustadt. Schnabl hopes for momentum from his important party colleague in the election campaign, in which the FPÖ did better than his SPÖ in polls.

Plaikner sees Schnabl, like the SPÖ in general, as wandering at the moment.
