Media manager and political expert Hans Mahr analyses the ‘summer talk’ of SPÖ leader Andreas Babler in an interview with krone.tv. In his eyes ‘Babler would not be able to win such an election.’
“The criticism he expressed was mainly aimed at his own party, the old SPÖ party. He apologizes for that. So I don’t know why you have to apologize for Kreisky and Vranitzky. “So it will be very difficult to motivate your own party and the people,” says Hans Mahr.
Nothing surprised me
Mahr continued: “What is surprising is that it remained as Mrs Bures had already announced. That the election manifesto is so vague and that we don’t really know where the money that he wants to distribute is going to come from. Because 14 billion or 12.5 billion, depending on how you read it and how you see it, is not a small amount. And then to think that if you give people a little more money, it will come back… I think that is a bold prediction.”
