France celebrates today the second round of their parliamentary elections and in Ipar Euskal Herria, the biggest fight is expected in the fourth constituency. Macron’s candidate led the NUPES candidate by two points in the first round. Therefore, voters from other parties this Sunday could be key.
The NUPES formation defends a left program, but as for territorial issues or Basque, they are often branded as dispatchers This was the case with the Molac law, when the left-wing coalition voted against it.
The two main candidates held a heated debate on Basque or the peace process on the last day of the campaign. For his part, the socialist candidate promised that he would be committed to agriculture, the peace process and minority languages.
