Interested viewers were offered three “press hours” on Sunday on ORF, in which representatives of the lists that were not yet present in the National Council could show themselves. As is well known, the Beer Party around its leader Dominik Wlazny is practically on the border when it comes to access to parliament in the polls. In the interview he was confident that he would actually be a politician in a week and he also made people sit up and take note of other statements.
Wlazny insisted that he took his party seriously. Otherwise he could have followed the offer of other lists for a safe mandate: “I would almost say that they came after me.” The NEOS showed interest and “Mr. Babler was in my office.” mandate.

Wlazny’s beer party is against a four-day workweek, millionaires’ tax and a minimum wage. “He would probably have preferred to accept an offer from Nehammer or Meinl-Reisinger,” it is speculated.

However, the NEOS tend to deny the latter. NEOS Secretary General Douglas Hoyos is surprised: “There were no offers from NEOS to Wlazny, so his claim in today’s ORF press hour is incorrect.”
