A South Korean lawmaker has raised eyebrows with a worrying conclusion: North Korea has enough plutonium and uranium to build at least double-digit numbers of nuclear weapons.
Lee Seong-kweun, a member of the parliament’s intelligence committee, cited information from South Korea’s intelligence service on Thursday. Accordingly, it is also possible that North Korea will conduct a seventh nuclear test after the US presidential election on November 5.

In July, US scientists concluded in a report that North Korea may have enough material to build as many as 90 nuclear warheads and has accumulated about 50 of them.
