The Basque Nationalist Party has started the processes for the renewal of internal territorial positions in all historical areas. The first step was taken on October 1, with the adoption of the electoral calendars, and will end on November 23 and 24 with the election of the internal positions that will represent the membership of each area in the various bodies of the party.
The process of electing the internal representatives of EAJ-PNV consists of two turns and the calendar will be identical in Araba, Bizkaia and Navarre.
In the first round of October 17 and 29party members can propose the names of candidates for various positions. In a second phase, between the days November 8 and 20the municipal meetings will vote on the general list of candidates resulting from the first round. On November 23, the Territorial Assemblies will appoint the new internal positions of each territory.
In Gipuzkoa The process will be similar, but the calendar is a little different: the first round will take place between October 17 and 27 and the second between November 7 and 17. The internal positions will be appointed on November 24.

Throughout the process, the presidents and burukides will be elected by the party executives in each area, the members of the Territorial Court of Justice and the representatives for each area in the party’s National Assembly, which will take place on March 29 and 30. 2025 in Donostia-San Sebastián and in which the party’s new presidency will be elected, completing the renewal process.
