Trump criticizes – Harris gives a Fox News interview for the first time

Date:

So far, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has tended to avoid conservative media during her campaign. Almost three weeks before the elections, she now gives an interview to Fox News.

The conversation with moderator Bret Baier will be broadcast on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. local time (12 p.m. CEST), the broadcaster announced. It is Harris’ first major television interview with a conservative media outlet since she became the Democratic nominee.

So far, the 59-year-old has spoken to CNN, CBS and ABC News, among others. Especially at the beginning of her candidacy, Harris was accused of avoiding interviews and thus avoiding critical questions.

Baier is already collecting questions for Harris from his audience on social media:

Trump criticizes Baier as ‘weak and soft’
Baier is the top political anchor at Fox News. His focus is on political analysis, interviews and news. His show ‘Special Report with Bret Baier’ airs daily and is one of the most watched formats according to the channel. Baier’s role differs from that of the channel’s commentators, such as Sean Hannity or Laura Ingraham, who very openly promote Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and criticize his opponents.

For this he was criticized by Trump on the Truth Social platform: the Republican stated that Bair had become weak and soft towards the Democrats.

The presidential elections will take place in the US on November 5. According to polls, a very close race between Harris and Trump is expected.
