The corona vaccination obligation will probably be abolished altogether. The government’s decision will apparently be announced today, Thursday. Surprisingly, the decision comes now: 10,898 new infections were reported in the country on Wednesday.
The vaccination obligation is currently still laid down by law, but has been suspended by regulation until August 31. After that, the installed committee should reassess the situation – that was the plan.
The law actually applies until the end of 2024
Now the vaccination law – which applies until the end of 2024 – could itself be amended or abolished. According to “Standard”, several MPs confirmed the negotiations on the end of the settlement. The decision will be announced today. The Ministry of Health has not yet confirmed these plans.
But now, of all times, the Corona situation is coming to a head again across Austria. On Wednesday, 10,898 cases were registered. A high value compared to the otherwise quite relaxed summer months.
