Dornauer on site – hunting affair case: motion of no confidence rejected!

Date:

The opposition is against the Tyrolean SPÖ boss and LHStv. As is known, Georg Dornauer (SPÖ) has submitted a motion of no confidence in the Tyrolean state parliament. The application was processed on Thursday afternoon. Dornauer himself entered the hall of the state parliament just in time for the start of the debate – and even spoke.

“This photo shocked me personally; Dornauer shot too far. The vote of no confidence is self-evident. I want to leave it at that, I don’t want to add more fuel to the fire,” says FP state party leader Markus Abwerzger. However, he turned to the SPÖ: “There is definitely a lack of understanding towards the party when it comes to the whole process.” He also sharply criticized the absence of LH Anton Mattle (ÖVP): “It happens time and time again that he takes on sensitive issues.”

“That shows how unteachable he is.”
For club chairman Markus Sint van List Fritz, it is about the “issue of credibility” and the “issue of trust”. “This is a forced admission of guilt. He himself said that he was not aware of any guilt. That shows that he is unlearnable and I personally think that is a shame,” Sint emphasizes. At the same time, he asks for clarification – for example: “Who paid for this excursion? And who shot?” According to Sint, “not a single person” believed the hat exchange campaign. The SPÖ is “a party at odds with itself” – “I hope you get back on track.” According to Sint, criminal law is now in principle ‘the only benchmark’ in politics – that cannot be the case, because it will slowly lose the confidence of the population.

“For me it is about assessing and explaining”
“For me today is not about Georg Dornauer – not at all, because that doesn’t interest me,” said Tyrolean Green Party leader Gebi Mair. The question for him is whether the SPÖ trusts Dornauer or not. For him, it is about “assessing and explaining the SPÖ, but also the ÖVP”. But when it comes to requests to speak here in the state parliament, “I unfortunately don’t see any SPÖ officials at the moment” – even though the SPÖ “urgently needs to justify itself to the public”.

“Hesitation and hesitation are not okay.”
LA Birgit Obermüller (Neos) also spoke: “We opted for the motion of no confidence, partly because the hesitation and hesitation of the SPÖ is not okay and because Dornauer is not allowed to remain in office until December 18. We expected LH Mattle to come to the table.” Ultimately, she appealed directly to Dornauer: “Don’t do this to yourself and the state parliament again.”

Then a request to speak came from the SPÖ – namely from club president Elisabeth Fleischanderl. “We in the party and in the coalition have agreed on an orderly transfer. This will take place in mid-December. “We are proceeding this way because this is clearly not a government crisis,” she emphasized, “and we will not support the motion.”

“He was already standing in front of his mess”
Then the main actor in this case, LHStv, took action. Georg Dornauer, the floor – and the room became silent. “When did I meet René Benko? There he was already standing in front of his pile of shards and had already driven many people to ruin – that is, on the way down. And yes, it was a mistake that I quit with him. “I was seduced by the principle of stopping at the people on the way down,” Dornauer admitted.

He also emphasized that he had gone to Styria with a friend – “I would have actually had two days off.” And the Tyrolean SPÖ leader repeated: “I have not broken the law.”

Finally, he thanked the ÖVP and SPÖ for their support – and announced that he would continue to attend appointments: “For example, next Tuesday I will look at the progress of the bobsleigh canal.” And: “Thank you very much, see you soon.” , all the best.” The applause from the MPs was moderate.

Vote shortly after 4:30 p.m
It then had to be decided whether voting would take place by roll call or anonymously; it ultimately became a roll-call vote. And shortly after 4:30 PM the time had come. The result: The application was rejected with 15 “yes” and 21 “no”. That means: LH deputy. Georg Dornauer did not receive a vote of no confidence and will remain in office until December 18. But it was certainly worth a try on the part of the opposition. Immediately after the announcement, Dornauer left the room.
