Burgenland Governor Hans Peter Doskozil left the Oberwart clinic on Sunday, his office announced today. The mild pneumonia that occurred early last week was successfully treated with antibiotic infusions and resolved, the report said.
The state governor is doing well and will take it easy for a few more days and work from home, the office said. Doskozils also thanked the doctors and nursing team of the Oberwartkliniek. “The state governor is also very grateful for the many good wishes of the people, who have given him great support,” the state governor’s office said.
As reported, Doskozil had to be hospitalized last week with mild pneumonia. Shortly before, he had undergone his eighth laryngeal operation in the clinic in Leipzig. The cause was petrification.
