Sean Duffy – Another TV host will soon become US Secretary of State

Date:

Donald Trump wants to bring the next TV host into government. Former Congressman Sean Duffy will take over as Secretary of Transportation.

According to the US president’s announcement, it should, among other things, usher in “a golden age of travel.” Duffy, 53, served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019 and currently co-hosts a show on Fox Business.

Trump’s favorite channel, Fox
Trump has been known for years as an avid viewer of Fox news networks. Last week, he selected Fox News host and former soldier Pete Hegseth for the position of secretary of defense.

The nomination raised questions as political observers in Washington questioned Hegseth’s competency for the office. In addition, reports that Hegseth was involved in a sexual harassment investigation seven years ago raised doubts about his appointment.

Duffy was one of several TV personalities who have represented Trump’s views on Fox news networks in recent years. His wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, was Hegseth’s co-host on a Fox News weekend show.
