Readers’ debate – Politicians: who do you actually trust?

Date:

There is a lot of discussion and debate going on every day at the Krone Forum. In our new Reader Debate section, we want to highlight special comments and ask the community for their opinion on an exciting aspect. The question today is which politician do you still trust?

In the Lower Austrian confidence index, SPÖ health council member Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig surprisingly takes first place with +12 points, ahead of Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner. Mikl-Leitner’s values are therefore well below its best value from 2005 (+31). FPÖ representatives and SPÖ regional leader Sven Hergovich also have to settle for negative values. The ÖVP is still trying to spread optimism.

habediehre comments very clearly on these values. He no longer trusts any politician, regardless of his or her party membership.

SPÖ-Königsberger-Ludwig was already very popular last year
Also last year, the popular state councilor was ahead of the 60-year-old state governor in a study by the Institute for Demoscopy and Data Analysis (IFDD). At the time, experts also expressed their high appreciation for the successful crisis management during the corona pandemic. Now the pandemic is over – but values remained stable!

Which politician do you still trust? On what factors does this trust or distrust depend? And to what extent does this value influence your voting decision? Share your thoughts on the topic with us in the comments!
