American billionaire Elon Musk is said to donate the equivalent of almost 100 million euros to the right-wing populist party Reform UK. At least that is what party leader Nigel Farrage, who became known as a Brexit champion and is an avid fan of Musk and future American President Donald Trump, says.
Musk had already donated more than $250 million to support Trump’s election campaign. The tech billionaire has not yet confirmed that the equivalent of almost €100 million will now be given to the Reform UK party. When a reporter recently asked about this, he said no.
Since last summer, Musk has repeatedly attacked the British government led by Social Democratic Prime Minister Keir Starmer. He described Britain as a “tyrannical police state” after right-wing radicals were jailed for inciting hatred online.

Opponent: Buy from side
Farage was open to a monetary donation from Musk: “We need ammunition. Without money we cannot run major national election campaigns,” said the former EU parliamentarian. His party took away numerous votes from the Conservatives in the parliamentary elections in July, but is only represented by five MPs in the lower house due to the majority system.
British media recently reported on Musk’s alleged plans. Opponents warned that the X and Tesla bosses wanted to buy a party.
