The Spanish Government and the Basque Government have held a technical meeting to try to define the different aspects of this transfer. So they spent the day trying to figure out what could be processed from the CAV.
The Deputy Minister of Employment and Inclusion of the Basque Government, Alfonso Gurpeguitrusts that the processes for authorizing work permits for foreigners will be accelerated once the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) takes over this power that the Spanish and Basque governments continued to negotiate on Thursday.
In statements to Radio Euskadi, Gurpegui referred to this transfer, on which both directors reached a political agreement in Parliament Joint Transfer Committee held on December 16 last year.
Following this agreement, both executives held a technical meeting on Thursday to try to define the various aspects related to this transfer, one of 27 still pending.
Alfonso Gurpegui explained what this transfer would entail, which the two governments have continued to work on all day to try “threshing” what can be processed from the CAV.
Be that as it may, the Deputy Minister of Employment believes that if there is a “greater proximity” to the labor market, as, as he has emphasized, achieved by the Public Employment Service, it would be possible are gain “in agility”.
Alfonso Gurpegui believes that all those processes related to the regularization of people, such as training or work experience, “more agile”.
