The rule is intended to limit the role of popular accusations “to protect fundamental rights such as the right to honor, privacy, political participation and judicial protection.”
The PSOE will register a rule in Congress this Friday morning guarantee protection faces the intimidation of unlawful judicial actions, which will be processed as an organic bill, and following the complaints of the Socialists in recent months about what they consider intimidation in the courts against the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and his consequence.
Socialist sources have indicated that the PSOE spokesperson in the House of Commons, Patxi López, will present this Friday at 10 a.m. a proposal for an organic law “to guarantee fundamental rights and protect against harassment resulting from unlawful judicial actions.”
According to Cadena Ser, the law aims to limit the role of popular accusations “to protect fundamental rights such as the right to honor, privacy, political participation and judicial protection.”
In addition, it proposes that judges who rule in favor of political parties be removed, as this will be considered a “judicialization of politics,” which risks “leading to a politicization of justice.”
