After the elections in Burgenland, exciting questions arise: who with whom? Or better said: with whom will election winner and Governor Hans Peter Doskozil form a government? And what impact do these elections have on the federal government and the parties? Communication and PR experts Sonja Kato, Silvia Grünberger and Christoph Pöchinger spoke about this with Rainer Nowak on krone.tv. SPÖ leader Doskozil is spoiled for choice. Pöchinger is betting on the Greens, they would be the cheapest because they are the smallest. Not governing with the Blues would not be politically wise for the Reds. “Because the current main dispute is the ÖVP against the FPÖ.” Kato, who is close to the SPÖ, sees a duel between Herbert Kickl and Vienna (SPÖ) for the elections in the federal capital on April 27. “Mayor Ludwig is the opposite model of the FPÖ boss.”

The coalition negotiations within the federal government were also an important topic of discussion. “We are making progress so quickly that parts of the ÖVP are almost embarrassed,” says Pöchinger, who thinks a government will be formed by mid-February. The black Silvia Grünberger stepped on the brakes a little when the Federal President noticed the delay. “In general, the civil servants should have been taken into account better. There is a need to catch up in the field of communication.

But the ÖVP will certainly not sell its soul. There are bottlenecks, such as in European politics.” Sonja Kato is surprised at how quickly the ÖVP collapsed while lying down. What can be expected from the FPÖ-ÖVP government? “The little ones will pay the bill for what the big ones have consumed.” Kato is just like the others, who obviously have a different view of things, but are confident that the government will come. Silvia Grünberger is cheerful: both ÖVP boss Christian Stocker and Kickl emphasized ‘honesty’
