List submitted – Hamas releases four female soldiers on Saturday

Date:

Hamas has given the Israeli government a list of the next four hostages to be released. This was announced by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office. The second transfer since the agreement is scheduled for Saturday.

The hostages are said to be four female soldiers. According to information from Hamas circles, the release will take place just like last Sunday. The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing and other groups would release the hostages “earlier than planned” on Saturday and hand them over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Hamas’s Bassem Naim said. In return, dozens of Palestinian prisoners will be released from Israeli prisons.

Saturday’s release of the hostages would be the second since the ceasefire between the Israeli government and Hamas took effect. Last Sunday, three Israeli citizens were released: Romi Gonen, Doron Steinbrecher and Emily Damari.

34 abductees are already dead
Another 26 hostages could be released in the first phase of the deal. A total of 33 Israeli hostages will be exchanged for approximately 1,900 Palestinian prisoners. In addition, aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip are being increased. Displaced Palestinians must be able to return to the northern part of the area. An Egyptian-Qatari committee will oversee this part of the deal.

It is said that 91 people who were kidnapped are still in the Gaza Strip, but according to the Israeli army, 34 of them are already dead.
