Violent attack – Vance sees Europe as a “greatest danger” for Europe

Date:

The American vice -president JD Vance has complained about a loss of democracy and freedom of expression in Europe to be surprised. In his fiery speech at the Munich Safety Conference, he explained these subjects to the greatest threat to the continent.

This is much more worrying than external threats, for example by Russia or China, said Vance on Friday afternoon in Munich. Or as he called it: “The danger from the inside.” The Republican fear that “common values” are lost. As an example of a loss of freedom of expression, VANCE mentioned the EU committee’s procedure against a lack of moderation in social networks. For the American this falls under censorship.

Moreover, the American vice-president led examples of anti-Christian incidents in Sweden and Great Britain. Europe would have “fear” for its own voters, the right hand of Trump complained. He also asked the further support of the United States for the continent.

First of all, European governments should become clear about what to defend. “If you are afraid of your own voters, America can’t do anything for you, and you can’t do anything for the American people that President Trump has chosen,” he says.

Vance explained that the exclusion of voices “protects nothing” and “the safest way to destroy democracy”. President Trump, on the other hand, is a role model to hear all pages. “Merkmanden” would not work, says Vance – and therefore the standardization of right -wing extremists requires.

Vance only tells Ukraine that he is sure that a “reasonable solution” can be found. The rest of the speaking time he turned to talk badly about Europe.

At the end of his speech, he quoted the Polish Pope John Paul II. Views that do not match his leadership. “Then he received a scarce applause in a room that usually looked pretty hidden.
