It justifies this with the fact that the Lebanese army does not follow fast enough. Israel wants five army positions
On Thursday, Lebanese parliament chairman Nabih Berri said that Israel wanted to keep five army positions in Lebanon. But he rejects that. The deadline for the withdrawal of Israeli troops was extended until 18 February.
According to the agreement, only the Lebanese army and soldiers of the UN peace mission Unifl must remain on location in the south of Lebanon. The Hisbollah has to withdraw from the border area to the Litani River and his military bases.
