The formation of the government also has an impact on the National Council, since twelve previous MPs have been rewarded with a ministerial office or a state secretariat. This results in various (prominent) comebacks – especially at the ÖVP.
The ÖVP is the most affected. Six mandates must be viewed again, three of them via the federal list, as well as two lower Austrian and a Tyrolean mandate.
Irene Neumann-Hartberger has decided to move the National Council to the National Council through a federal mandate instead of the mandate of ÖVP boss Christian Stocker in the Sophic District South. As the ÖVP Lager Austria has announced, the mandate goes from Stocker to Thomas Elian, chairman of the Community Festival of Schwarzau am Steinfeld (District Neunkirchen).
Second and three of the Federal Folklors, the previous education spokesperson Rudolf Taschner and Kira Grünberg, both represented in the National Council in the past two legislative periods.
Lobbyist of the Franz Hörl cable car still has to wait
After them it would be the bend of cable car lobbyist Franz Hörl. This will probably take another place in the National Council in the middle of the year with the change of Karoline Edtstadler to the Steelsregering van Salzburg.
Norbert Tettschnig’s mandate was also free on the Tyrolean State List. This goes to lawyer Jakob Grüner. Friedrich ofenauer returns to the National Council for the Lower Austrian Staatslijst by Gerhard Karner.
Four Spöe again visited
Four sacrifices are created in the Spö. The upper Austrian mandate of Eva Maria Holzleitner means the return of Elisabeth Feichinger. Jörg Leichtfried’s chair goes to Manfred Harrer in Oststeirer. In addition, two mandates were released on the federal list. These go to the former State Secretary Muna Duzdar and federal director Klaus Rasheim.
With the Neos, the mandates of Beate Meinl Reisinger and Josef Schellhorn must be filled. The spokesperson for the Carinthian state of Janos Juvan goes through the federal list and IT employee Ines Holzegger via the Viennese state list.
