The fundraiser of Alexander Van der Bellen started in mid-June. Now the supporters’ association of the incumbent Federal President has already announced the first donors in the current Hofburg election campaign.
In addition to the 500,000 euros that the Greens have transferred, according to a broadcast another 90,609.17 euros has been collected by 425 donors in the past two weeks. The list is now updated every 14 days.
Largest one-time donation from winegrower Clemens Strobl
So far, six donors have been named who have given more than 3,500 euros. Four of them are Werner Kogler, Leonore Gewessler and Johannes Rauch, the three green ministers and club president Sigrid Maurer. They donated 4000 euros each. The largest one-time donation to date (besides that of the federal party) amounts to 20,000 euros, coming from winegrower Clemens Strobl. It is also noted that 333 euros came from the local Eichgraben group of the Greens.
