In a television interview, US President Donald Trump expressed extremely upset about the behavior of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He was “very irritated and pissed off” about Putin, Trump said in a conversation with the Nieuwskanaal NBC in a conversation on Sunday.
At the same time, Trump threatened with extra rates for Russian oil and announced further conversations with Putin in the coming days.
Trump specifically criticized that Putin had questioned the credibility of the Ukrainian President Wolodyymyr Senskyj. These comments did not go in the right direction. Senskyj asked for more pressure on Russia in his evening video message to convince Moscow to give permission for unconditional ceasefires -furen. “The American proposal for unconditional ceases -the fire is on the table for too long, without Russia responding in the right way,” he said. “There could already be a ceasefire -fire if real pressure on Russia was exerted,” he added. He thanked the countries, “who understood the concept” and the pressure on the Kremlin due to sanctions.
Representatives of the United States had held conversations in recent weeks about a possible cease -the fire with delegations from Russia and Ukraine. According to the negotiation participants, there was agreement on a fire brigade in the Black Sea and for attacks on energy systems. However, both parties continue to accuse and accuse each other’s attacks in these areas to sabotage peace efforts.
