The two former government partners ÖVP and Greens still employ the former greens minister of climate Leonore Gewessler when it comes to renature. This is also proven by a political dispute that the EU Junior hopes for both parties, Lena Schilling and Alexander Bernhuber, are exactly on the net. What it is about and how a “Lex Gessler” should prevent such solo purposes in the future.
The political dispute between the ÖVP and the greens on the solo of former minister Leonore Gewessler in the Renature Regulation is apparently not overcome. And is now being prosecuted where everything started at the EU level in Brussels. The two political youngsters Lena Schilling (Greens) and Alexander Bernhuber (ÖVP) only received a real duel on Instagram.
The conflict was activated by a video of Schilling published on Instagram, in which she criticized Bernhuber and the entire ÖVP as a “climate delinquents” and accused them of verbally attacking critical activists because Bernhuber should be tuned to that they would rather demonstrate plants instead.
“Mr. Bernhuber that she is now working for renature, I think it’s great,” said Schilling. Schilling also tried to draw attention to her homepage and a characteristic campaign against ÖVP MPs.
In turn, Bernhuber has shown and published the full video system that Schilling had only shortened. The video shows that there was no coordination in that so -called scandalous situation – and therefore not a basis for mobilizing massive e -mails.
The link to this had disappeared from Schillings Instagram side the next morning. With a mix of humor and strategy, Bernhuber made a clear sign, his message was clear: “Instead of attacking others and diving into small wars, we must concentrate on representing our own ideas”.
Political Zofff is moving to the network
This reaction also brought him some likes on social media. In the duel of the young political talents it is again clear how much political communication has shifted to digital and that there can also be a difference. And it is also certain: the solo of the Greens only in the regulation in politics still causes a conversation in politics – in Brussels, as well as in Vienna.
“Lex Gewessler” must be prevented
With such political corner trains, however, it should be over in the future. Because a short story has come into effect since 1 April, which must prevent such solutions. At least it is in the government program of the Zuckerl Coalition. “Important decisions of the coalition partners are made together and represented in public,” says the planned agreement.
Right -wing experts are more than skeptical that this “Lex Goverler” would retain in the case of a dispute. According to European lawyer Franz Leidenmühler (Johannes Kepler University in Linz), the following remains that the voice of a minister in the EU council is decisive, even if this does not match the position of the government.
