Sloppy research or even conscious coverage?
Peter Pilz increases countless inconsistencies in the Pilnacek case in his book: the police immediately accepted suicide because there was no knife in the back of the body – so no crime scene and no protection of crime. An emergency doctor who stimulated an autopsy is said to have been put under pressure by officials. Proof remained unsecured, important data carriers were even flamed with a Bunsen burner. According to Peter Pilz, this may indicate that explosive material was deliberately destroyed to protect ÖVP politicians. If there is actually something true, it sheds a frightening light on the integrity of the police and the judiciary. Is Austria so politically intended that even possible murder cases are not cleaned up or even covered?
