A 33-year-old Vorarlberg intended on Thursday around 11.30 am in the area around Lienzer Spitz to make a round with his paraglider. According to the current findings, he poured a steep meadow slope and a rock wall for the flight.
The cause of the accident is being investigated
The man was deadly injured. The alarmed Swiss Rescue Flight Guard was only able to restore the crash about 240 meters under the suspected jumping point after a short search flight.
The course of the accident is still unclear and is being investigated by specialists from the Alpine Operational Group of the St. Gallen Cantonal Police.
