Thousands of people demonstrated in Washington and other cities against the policy of US President Donald Trump. For the White House, protest against banners with the inscription “employees must have power”, “stops the armament of Israel” and “the rule of law”.
Some demonstrators went to the street to support migrants that the Trump administration has deported it or threatens to deport them.
“Hass has never made a big nation”
“While Trump and his government mobilize the deportation machine of the United States, we will organize the resistance networks and systems to defend our neighbors,” said a demonstrator during a Rally on Lafayette Square near the White House.
Protested against the abolition of Trump of diversity, equality and inclusion programs. In the vicinity of the Washington Monument, banners hung with the inscription “Hate never made a nation great” and “the same rights do not mean fewer rights for you”.
Demos also in New York and Chicago
Some demonstrators waved with Palestinian flags and sang “Free Palestine”. Others expressed their support for Ukraine and asked the US government to continue the war of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the country.
Demonstrations also took place in other American cities such as New York and Chicago. It was the second day with national protests since Trump took office.
