A wild hunt for speeders took place on Saturday in the streets of Lower Austria. On the West Autobahn (A1) the police went online at various speeds: two drivers were caught at 217 and 213 km/h instead of the permitted 130 km/h. That now has many achieving consequences.
The Men-A 35-year-old Serbs from Germany and a 51-year-old Viennese were immediately finished. Her vehicles were also temporarily seized, as the director announced on Sunday. In addition to the two, a 23-year-old Viennese is also shown, who was also far too fast on the road.
On the highway at 213 km/h
The laser measurements along the A1 direction Vienna near Böheimkirchen (St. Pölten District) revealed the first racer in the afternoon: the 35-year-old was stopped shortly after 4 p.m. at 213 km/h. About an hour later, a civilian patrol in the vicinity of Pyhra (St. Pölten district) pulled a different pace from the blood circulation. On a follow-up with a calibrated speedometer, a speed of 217 km/h was measured by the 51-year-old car.
Loss of driving license after frenzy
But that is not all: on the L120 in St. Andrä-Wördern (Tulln District) a 23-year-old ran through a zone from the 70s at 128 km/h. He also had to give his driver’s license. All three men are reported to the responsible district administration.
