On the night of May 1, two teenagers left behind a trail of destruction in the Salzkammergut. ATMs, traffic signs, house facades and the Schafbergbahn area were “decorated” with graffiti.
Sprinkler captured
But police officers from Bad Ischl discovered that the duo – the 14-year-old boy and the 15-year-old girl from the Salzburg district – had been reported to the public prosecutor’s office.
Boredom as a motive
When questioned, most of them confessed and said boredom was the motive for the crime. The resulting damage is in the four-figure eurozone.
