Escalation in Bosnia – Dodik’s attempt to arrest in Sarajevo failed

The police converted an administration building in the east of the capital Sarajevo, in which Dodik was. But the executive power stood in the way of loyal, heavily armed security forces of Republika SRPSKA (RS). After a few negotiations, the deceased members of the central police moved back. A violent capture of the searched search was avoided under all circumstances, it was said in local media.

The court sentenced Dodik about the prison sentence
Against Dodik and against the RS -Minister of Radovan Višković and the RS parliamentary President Nenad Stevandić, the general public prosecutor had issued arrest statements in March. The prosecutors accuse the trio attacks on the Constitutional Order of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dodik was sentenced to a year in prison for contempt for the constitutional order. The 66-year-old appealed. Finally, the parliament of the RS laws intended to deprive the central courts, prosecutors and federal police officers in the RS area.

Biggest crisis since the war in Bosnia
Dodik, who regularly coordinates with the Kremlin -Baas Vladimir Putin, has been consisting of the Bosnian state for years. Bosnia-Herzegovina, a former Yugoslav sub-Public, was restored as a state after the bloody war from 1992 to 1995 by the Dayton’s peace agreement. The two parts of the country, the Republika SRPSKA (RS) and the Bosnian-Croatian Federation (FBIH) have since had extensive autonomic rights. The current crisis is the largest since the war in Bosnia.
