The rebellion of the rescue workers! After the pension coup with nurses, the Rotreuz -Baas also requires solutions to his profession. In a special petition, the organization now calls on the public to show and sign solidarity for recognition.
It is a first step in the right direction: as reported, nurses are now heavy work. The federal government has therefore set a clear signal – for more recognition, more appreciation and hopefully soon also better framework conditions for everyone who works on the limit every day to help others.
But that is far from enough – now the Austrian Red Cross now means. President Gerald Schöpfer is strong for a professional group that also suffers from enormous stress, but apparently completely overlooked: the rescue workers.
In an urgent attraction for politics, you now demand that the approximately 8,000 full -time paramedics should be recognized as quickly as possible as heavy employees! The question: the same right for anyone who works in the service of health.
New petition should make politics even more steam
In a special petition, the organization now calls on the public to show and sign solidarity for recognition.
“Paramedics do hard work every day – physically and mentally”, Schöpfer emphasizes. After all, they wear patients, often in narrow stairwells, in heat, cold, snow and rain. They work in night shifts, respond to emergency situations in seconds, experienced tragic scenes and are constantly under high pressure.
“Extreme burden”
That is not an office job, but an extreme burden. With the campaign you no longer want to reach applause, but also to make the job attractive in the future, it is said. The petition can be signed online here or they go to wir.rotessreuz.at/sanitaeter-schwerbeit.
