Ex-finance minister Karl-Heinz Grasser no longer has money according to his own statement. The former politician applied for a private bankruptcy on Wednesday from BG Kitzbühel. This was announced by the Credit Protection Association 1870 (KSV).
“The court now checks whether the bankruptcy requirements have been met,” says a message. According to the KSV, details about the application of Grasser would not be available yet.
Private bankruptcy means a legal procedure for judicial debt for natural persons who are insolvent and do not have an independent economic activity.
It is a way to free yourself from Over -InteBetness and make a new economic start possible – in the specific case it is probably due to high litigation costs and the upcoming start of the prison in Grasser.
Start is getting closer
In the corruption process against ex-finance Minister Grasser and other defendants, the legally binding debt of the Supreme Court (OGH) was also sent in writing on Monday. It can therefore be assumed that he is being asked to start in prison in the coming days.
