US Air Offensive Works-Trump: “Houthi Militia in Yemen tinned”

Date:

US President Donald Trump surprisingly promised the air strikes on the Houthi militia in Yemen. The rebels had “surrendered”, Trump said Tuesday. They “no longer wanted to fight”, and that is why the United States would put an end to his attacks.

“You have surrendered. (…) We will take you to the word,” Trump said when visiting the new Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

“You said, please no longer bomb and we won’t attack your ships,” said it. Since the outbreak of the Gaza war, conflicts in the region have also increased considerably on the zeroutes. The Houthi connected to Iran has attacked more and more tankers on routes in the Red Sea.

Sanaa Airport paralyzed
According to Trump’s statements, further details were completely unclear. In the first instance there was no information from the Houthi. The militia had only threatened to take revenge shortly after the Israeli attacks at the airport in the capital Sanaa. The attacks would not remain unanswered, said it in a statement of the political office of the pro-Iranian militia. They spoke about Israeli-American attacks, as it was said in the explanation published by the Houthi-related TV station.

Earlier, a rocket from the Houthi militia was hit in the airport of Tel Aviver in Israel on Sunday. Israel then endangered with retribution. On Monday, the Israeli army attacked the port in Hudaida. Today’s attacks at the airport in Sanaa, ports, cement factories and power plants, according to the Houthi, were intended to force a siege of the Yemeni people.

A civil war has been running in Yemen for ten years, the country is in fact divided. The Houthi militia supported by Iran controls large areas in the north, including the capital Sanaa and the port city of Hudaida, the internationally recognized government.
