Roodgroen is a premiere in Burgenland and currently unique under the governments of the federal states. The coalition has been in office for 100 days. Spö and Greens therefore praised the collaboration together, there was criticism of the FPö opposition.
The leadership of the government agrees about its findings: liability, appreciation and respect would distinguish the work between the partners, it is said. “For me, working at the eye level is an important signal that we are serious. Both partners must support the program 100 percent,” emphasizes Governor Hans Peter Doskozil (Spö).
His deputy Anja Haider-Wallner (Groenen) sees it in the same way: “If there are different ideas, we clarify this in personal conversations and we have always found solutions that are good and portable.” This makes the coalition in Burgenland a real counter -model for the federal government. At the first joint regional class next week, the focus is also on health and care, the municipal package, economic measures and climate protection.
“Solo has become a choir”
The club bans are also full of mutual praise: “I am convinced that this will take the next four years and seven months,” explains Roland Fürst (Spö). The collaboration is going very well. Wolfgang Spitzmüller (Greens) emphasized that it was a change for both parties. The Spö had only ruled that the Greens had been in the opposition. “But the solo has become a choir,” said Spitzmüller. He is also happy that in the State Parliament after his speeches, no longer just his club colleague, but many more mandatars would clap.
There was a broad side for freedom among club chairman Norbert Hofer. “The FPö is an opposition party generated by AI that makes little effort and is fundamental opposition,” says Fürst. On the other hand, the ÖVP would “appear constructively”.
FPö sees many announcements, but hardly an implementation
“A lot of symbolism, small substance”, FPö Club-Baas Hofer had previously balanced red green for 100 days. There were many announcements, but hardly any concrete implementation steps. Hofer: “Crucial questions remain unanswered, especially on central topics such as care and public interest.”
