By the end of the year, the federal government wants to present measures that are intended to prevent violence against women. The content of the content started on Tuesday. Experts from all ministries, administration and experts against violence protection are involved.
The so -driven national action plan against violence on women (NAP) should help “that women and girls in Austria can live safely and freely from violence in all areas of life”. The budget for women was “secured” before 2025, promised Minister of Women Eva-Maria Holzleitner (Spö). There are no cuts in the women’s department this year, a “small increase” in the coming year. “The nap is not a unique project, but a long -term process that will accompany us over the entire legislative period.” The first National Protection Protection Action Plan goes back to 2014.
