Harvard has filed a lawsuit against the exclusion of international students. The government of Trump had withdrawn the certification for the admission of foreigners. The faculty criticized that this was the last attempt to influence the curriculum.
In a lawsuit that was submitted on Friday in Boston before a federal court in Boston, Harvard said that the government’s actions will violate the first constitutional and “direct and devastating effects for Harvard and more than 7,000 visa holders”.
“With a stroke, the government tried to eradicate a quarter of the Harvard Studenter body, international students who make an important contribution to the university and their mission,” Harvard said in his complaint. The Elite University has announced that he would like to apply for an order to prevent the Ministry of Homeland protecting the measure.
