Wiener Rochaden – Ludwig stirs up the city resorts once

Now the new city council is ready to go: the Spö committees gave unanimously mayor Michael Ludwig’s wishes for the staff of Mayor Michael Ludwig. With one exception, the responsibility of old acquaintances will be the next five years:

• Peter Hacker remains responsible for social matters, health and sports in display of the billion dollar hospital program and the minimal security misery, he is undoubtedly more than busy.

• Veronica Kaup-Hasler is still responsible for culture and science. But she also gets the adult education centers from the previous Neos portfolio.

• The new: Barbara Novak receives the gigantic Ministry of Finance, Business, Work, International and also digitally (previously with Ulli Sima)-but easier for the municipal utilities.

Ludwig himself also unanimously confirmed in function
Mayor Michael Ludwig was also chosen on Wednesday – Pro Forma: he also remains with a unanimous support from his party, governor and mayor.

• Ulli Sima, the long -term municipal councilor, retains mobility and city planning. Moreover, there are municipal utilities and therefore the entire urban supply mandate – energy, public transport and much more. This means a huge upgrade – even if she has lost responsibility for the markets for vice -mayor Bettina Emmerling (Neos). It gave the baths in exchange.

• Everything remains the same for Kathrin Gaál: she is still vice -daily and is responsible for life, urban renewal and women. After all, this is not surprising, she has not allowed herself to be a coarser error in the previous legislative period.

• As expected, Jürgen Czernohorszky is still responsible for the climate, the environment, democracy and staff. The Viennese baths are new in his department.

Apart from the city administration, there are more armchair ridges: trade unionist Christian Meidlinger, for example, becomes the new State President after the departure of Ernst Woller. The third president of the State Parliament – the office of the second president of the Landtag is entitled to Gerhard Schmid after the FPö election because of the political power relationships. Marina Hanke, chairman of the Spö Ladies for Vienna, moved to the third chairman of the city council. There are also eight new members of parliament on the Spö -side: a total of 21 mandatars and 22 mandatars. The club tour stays with Joe Taucher.
