“Spider Network” revenge? – Russia covers Kyiv with huge air strikes

Date:

At night drone attacks on the Ukrainian capital Kiev Kyiv were killed, at least four people. As Mayor Vitali Klitschko also announced on Telegram on Friday evening, 20 others were injured.

Several residential buildings were hit on massive air strikes – the emergency services explained that Russia had attacked “drones and ballistic missiles”.

The goals were also other larger cities and regions in the west of the country, reported news sports such as “The Kyiv Independent”. The sirens cried in all regions of Ukraine. In Kiev, a drone met the top floors of an apartment building, the head of the Kiev Military Authority, Timur Tkachenko. In addition to explosions, abandoned debris were reported in various districts. According to the military administration, emergency power can also take place in the eastern part of Kiev.

Russia announced retribution
It was initially unclear whether it was the expected large -scale retaliation attack in Russia after the Ukrainian blow against the Russian bomber fleet last weekend. In the surprise attack, the Ukrainian secret service SBU had attacked various Russian military airports after months of preparation, of which fighter aircraft had previously started attacks against Ukraine. The SBU said that a total of machines with a total value of $ seven billion ($ 6.1 billion) was destroyed in the attacks.

After the attack that was embarrassing for him, the Kremlin initially moaned on his own ground. The annoyance of Vladimir Putin was the first public by US President Donald Trump. After his phone call with the Kremlin chef, Trump said that Putin “had said very clearly” that he had to respond to the attacks by Ukraine.
