18 months before plan – head of land agrees with reform partnership

Date:

The federal government, the federal states and municipalities want to take the time to achieve greater administrative reform. In 18 months, however, they want to have developed a plan in the field of education, health and energy.

A great reform partner! This was announced by the Governor of Salzburg, Wilfried Haslauer (ÖVP) after the Governor Conference in Leogang, in which the heads of the federal government, community and city association had also participated. They want to concentrate in the field of health, education and energy, as well as on extensive adjustments and administrative injections.

Formally, a ‘reform partner’ was agreed that is merged by the federal government, the states, municipalities and cities – for the first time in this form, as Haslauer emphasized. Chancellor Christian Stocker (ÖVP) underlined that this is not only about change, but also about improvement. Life in Austria must be adapted to today’s circumstances.

Bablers want to reach faster doctor’s appointments
The federal government wants to act relatively quickly in the field of energy, where the Chancellor wants to assess in the near future. This is about damping prices for both households and companies. Infrastructure extension and faster approval procedures must be observed, for example. Vice -Chancellor Andreas Babler (Spö), for example, wants to ensure that the structures must be available, for example to be available faster.

Haslauer saw the common approach as a very important signal: “This deliberately creates a high expectation that should put us under pressure.” Babler announced that intervening results had to be delivered within a few months.
