The use of the American Satellite Internet Service Starlink will be banned in Iran in the future. The Parliament in Tehran decided that, as the ISNA press agency reported.
Violations can be punished with fine, eyelashes and a maximum of two years in prison. It is not known how strong Starlink, which belongs to the technical billionaire Elon Musk, is used in Iran. However, the costs will probably exceed the budget of an average budget.
Starlink is one of the few alternatives for which Iranians can fall back when the tour runs on the internet – as recently happened during the war with Israel.
