The German state of Rijnland-Palatinate no longer wants to hire members of the AFD party in public service. In the future, all applicants should explain not to belong to an extremist organization for at least five years. It will be part of a list on which the AfD would also be managed.
In Rijnland-Palatinate, the AfD is already being observed by the office for the protection of the Constitution. SPD -Minister of Interior Michael Ebling recently said that the party no longer had a moderate wing and that radicalization increased. Anyone who has denied the statement about non-members and cannot clean up any doubts about his own constitutional loyalty will not be placed in public service.
Anyone who is already an employee and at the same time expect a member of a listed organization a disciplinary procedure. The respective individual matter is crucial. A possible prohibition procedure against the alternative to Germany is currently being discussed throughout Germany, one of the same supports the SPD, which is involved in the federal government and the Minister of Justice.
AfD: “Anti -Democratic Professional Ban”
As expected, the AfD reacted with massive criticism and accused the accused of unconstitutional methods. “Because he and the SPD know that there is no basis for an AFD ban, Ebling reaches anti-democratic means and threatens DEG members with professional forbidden,” said the AFD member of the federal substances and Vice-country’s chairman Sebastian Münzenmaier. Instead of concrete allegations, every party member is now being brought under general suspicion. It is a “reversal of the burden of proof for all future officials and employees in public service”.
