Almost a week after the death of the Upper Austrian doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr, Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) commented on this on Wednesday. He expressed his condolences to the deceased doctor’s family, friends and patients.
“It is important that authorities continue to investigate to find out who threatened Dr. Kellermayr,” he emphasized in a statement to APA, “Hate online and personal threats have no place in our society.”
“It is terrible if someone sees no other way than to end their life because of hatred and personal threats,” the chancellor continued. He welcomed the fact that “an autopsy has now taken place to clarify the circumstances of her death”.
