Jon Rahm went from less to more in the second Playoff of the Fedex Cup, the BMW Championship in Wilmington, Del.penultimate tournament of the regular season on the PGA Tour led by his ‘black beast’ Patrick Cantlay with 12 under par.
Jon, winner of this tournament in 2020, broke into the top 20 after signing his best card of the week and the best third-round tie, 65 shots, six under par, along with Cantlay, Collin Morikawa and Brendan Steele.
Cantlay leads by one stroke over Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele and countryman Scott Stallings while the day’s leader Adam Scott and world number 1 Scottie Scheffler are at -10.
Rory McIlroy is at -7 after a recovery halved by a bogey at the 18th and Rahm is tied at the 18th.
