Southampton bounced back from Maddison’s excellent goal

At half time the Scotsman Che Adams reactivated Southamptonwho succeeded in Maddison’s free-kick goal for Leicester and added first victory in the Premier so far this season (1-2).

Adams, on the starting bench, jumped onto the field in the 59th minute instead of Sekou Mara and reversed the fight. The match was uphill for Ralph Hasenhutti’s team who at the start of the second half, in the 55th minute, got a free kick that was well converted by james madison.

In nine minutes the Scotsman’s presence was felt. A throw-in in the penalty area Mohammed Salisu fell at the feet of Adams, to shoot towards the goal. The ball goes in although it hits the defense james justinwhich is pointed out as the author of the goal.

Southamptonwho lost to Tottenham and drew against Leeds in the first two match days, waited for his turn. Leicester, still without victory, turned on Gavin Bazunu’s substitute and an oversight cost him the game.
