Players who do not participate in international matches are medically examined
The new season 22/23 has already started for UCAM Murcia CB. The first team players who do not have international competition met at 9.30 am in the outpatient clinic of the Mesa del Castillo hospital to undergo the relevant medical examinations.
Tomás Bellas, Travis Trice, Urban Klavzar, Jordan Davis, James Anderson, Ryan Luther and Ilimane Diop posed for the media before undergoing blood and urine tests, medical evaluations and an EKG. For the tenth consecutive season, Hospital Mesa del Castillo continues to sponsor UCAM Murcia CB and will be the starting point for the new season.
The club’s medical team, led by Dr. Juan José Martínez Navarro and physiotherapists Rogelio Diz and Pablo Ortín, were responsible for carrying out the medical examinations typical of these first days of the preseason.
Due to the high number of absences of first team players concentrated on their respective national teams, up to seven players from the academy will now join the first team. Pau Tendero, José Tomás, Fabián Flores, Will Falk, Villiam García, Dani Arjol and El Hadji Ngom will start training under Sito Alonso. The youth player Hamza Mestoglu joins the concentration a few days later.
